Jorge, we're dying out here, LOL. :woohoo: How about posting some unedited matches to ease the withdrawal symptoms? Please?

rayshooter22 - 10 Ball Season Opener Day 1   | Registered | 2008-03-07 20:21:41
avatar Hello out there this is Raymond Reporting Live from the season opener of the 2008 Seminole Pro Tour. The first stop of the 9 stop 10 ball season has drawn world class players with the likes of Corey Duel, Rodney Morris, Ronnie Wiseman, Louis Ulrich, and Stevie Moore to Stroker's Billiards in Palm Harbor Florida. Friday Night saw some great matches including Monica Webb besting John Di Toro in a hill-hill crowd pleaser. One of the big upsets of the night saw Adam Wheeler topple the giant that is Louis Ulrich in a great 7-4 contest. Finally, the last match of the night saw an awesome battle between one of the odds on favorites to win the tournament in Stevie Moore going up against young gun and up-and-coming pro Justin Hall that ended in an exciting hill-hill finish. Stevie Moore came out on top and faces another tough test on Saturday with the prospect of playing Sparky Ferrel. Stay tuned in to propoolvideo.com for upcoming matches and tournament updates.

The updates are nice. A good improvement to the looks of the site. Still the best site on the web.

Thanks Jorge
straightshooter - New rules for 10-ball?   | Registered | 2008-03-09 19:32:57
With the WPA's recent addition of a set of world-standardized rules for 10-ball (http://www.wpa-pool.com/index.asp? content=rules_10ball
), will the Seminole Pro Tour be following suit? Under the WPA's new rules, 10-ball is a call shot game, making it vastly superior to 9-ball. Anything to limit the luck factor in pool can only be good for the game. Although I like the new rules very much, I still have to question the WPA on why pocketing the 10-ball on the break counts as a win in a call shot game. I suppose I understand that a 10-ball break would keep things moving along. Maybe in the future, this rule could be amended to handle the situation as it would be handled in 8-ball, by spotting the 10-ball and continuing play from where the cue ball lies. Does this sound fair and in keeping with the spirit of a call shot game? I'm looking forward to the upcoming videos.
